 Believe it or not but there is an actual genre of sport for gaming called e-sports.

This is a type of sport where professional, skilled, gamers take part in competitions to earn money. Some competitions, such as the Call of duty competitions, can pay out as much as 400 thousand dollars to winning teams

Games, like First person person shooters or fighters ,take instant reactions, precise decision making, hundreds of hours of practise and perfect timing. They’re challenging to play and honestly take a lot of effort to become professional at.

I’ve been playing games competitively for about 9 years and still find myself learning new skills and tactics in order to become better at video games. I’ve even been looking to start taking part in local FPS tournaments. So to conclude, Gaming is most definitely a profession and can actually lead to great satisfaction and monetary wins.
